438.0. "accvio when double-clicked on a process in the event log
" by KERNEL::AMISSM () Fri Jan 31 1997 06:38
Hi
Can anyone help with the following...
An access violation is caused after double-clicking on a process in the
event log that has been reporting low process quotas.
We are running the analysis from a LAVC VAXstation 4000 m.60 running VMS V6.2
whilst the collection nodes are running VMS V6.1(a cluster of 7810's). AMDS
is (I think) v7.0 and no patches have been applied.
The window displaying the processes details either fires-up and then the
entire AMDS display drops or the window just refuses to fire up and again AMDS
drops.
The following access violation information is displayed;
An ACCESS VIOLATION has occurred within an internal
structure of DECamds, please check the Release Notes
for any restrictions listed there that you may have
come across. Otherwise, please submit a Software
Performance Report (SPR) with your Digital Customer
Support Center.
