322.0. "Server ACCVIO during BIND command" by COOKIE::FROEHLIN (Let's RAID the Internet!) Mon Feb 24 1997 16:20
    Problem:

    Server process disappeared.

    Anaysis:

    SYS$MANAGER:RAID$DIAGNOSTICS_<node>.LOG file show the following
    entries:

%RAID-I-DIAGNOSTIC, Received ... from Server on node ...
-RAID-I-FAILMOUNT, device ?# could not be mounted
    -MOUNT-F-IVDEVNAM, invalid device name

%RAID-E-DIAGNOSTIC, Received ... from Server on node ...
-RAID-E-BUG, a software bug was detected at:
            line ..., file DISK$RAID_BL:[RAID_BL.YEGD.SRC]SRV_MBX_BIND_RS.C;1
    -RAID-F-DEVACCESS, cannot access device ?#

%RAID-I-DIAGNOSTIC, Received ... from Server on node ...
-RAID-I-FAILDISMOU, device ?# could not be dismounted
    -SYSTEM-F-IVDEVNAM, invalid device name

    and finally:

    %RAID-F-DIAGNOSTIC, Received 21-FEB-1997 17:14:27.04 from Server on ...
    -RAID-F-UNEXPSIG, Unexpected signal
    -SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, ...

Typically a bogus device name is reported (e.g. "?#").

    Workaround:

    None. Restart the server process.

    Solution:

    In V2.4 (not in T2.4-1).
