321.0. "RAID-F-DRIVER, Error... from RAID SHOW" by COOKIE::FROEHLIN (Let's RAID the Internet!) Mon Feb 24 1997 16:04
Problem:
RAID SHOW command fails with:
RAID-F-DRIVER, Error resulting from RAID Driver QIO was detected
Analysis:
In some cases a restarted server process does establish the right
information about bound RAID arrays. In such a case the server sends
bogus RAID array to the driver which results in the error message
above. The RAID array (DPA devices) for this array can be used safely
and the RAID SHOW very likely works on other nodes in the lcuster.
Workaround:
Either try the RAID SHOW from another node in the cluster or use
RAID SHOW/BRIEF (which bypasses the server).
Solution:
Fixed in T2.4-1.
