320.0. "BIND command in CPU bound loop" by COOKIE::FROEHLIN (Let's RAID the Internet!) Mon Feb 24 1997 15:58
    Problem:

RAID BIND command for a RAID 5 array hangs process in tight CPU loop
    without any I/Os.

    Analysis:

The array is in a transient state to become reduced. The BIND code
still tries to include the removed member in the BIND but skips the
member when searching for complete BIND information.

    Workaround:

Recall the BIND command but specify only one member device. Try it
for each known member in the array.

    Solution:

Fixed in V2.4 (not in T2.4-1).
