| Disks created with RAID Software for OpenVMS cannot be system disks.
There are no plans to implement it.
Making software RAID disks available to boot off the OS requires quite
some interaction with VMS or worse...the console firmware.
However, controller based RAID disks are supported as boot disks.

But I fail to boot from RAID 5 disk like dra0. Any idea ?

| I think there are some restriction with booting from hardware RAID
sets. Check MVBLAB::SABLE for details.
