Does anybody know what causes and how to prevent HSZ50 Corrupt Cache
conditions and Lost_Data conditions on HSZ HW RAID units?

We saw this show up after 2 new TruClusters were shipped to our site
and had been working fine at another site. Several power resets did
NOT clear these errors. Wound up doing the following:

    CLEAR_ERRORS THIS_CONTROLLER INVALID_CACHE DESTROY_UNFLUSHED_DATA

    (Did same for OTHER_CONTROLLER)

    CLEAR_ERRORS D0 LOST_DATA
    CLEAR_ERRORS D100 LOST_DATA
    etc.

    Anyone?
    /paul

| You'll get that if the cache battery goes dead, and the controller was not cleanly shut down. | |||||
