A customer asked me if the v3.0 of HSOF is supported by
Digital Unix v4.0 and vice versa...
He read the HSOF release notes and the "Operating System Support"
part just tells about Digital Unix v3.2c => v3.2g !!!
I looked at HSOF v5.0 release notes (for HSZ50) and found the
same "restriction" !???
The question is, can the customer upgrade his Unix system to
v4.0 without problem or has he to be stuck to a v3.2x release ?
In such case is there a newer HSOF version which will support
Unix v4.0x in a short time ?

unix 4.0b is the supported version of unix, be aware that there is a
restriction for using tar with hsz and unix 4.0x, you must specify a
block size of not greater than 64k in the tar command.
hzz40/50 v30-3 and v5.0-2 are supported with unix 4.0b
