A local customer is having problems with their HSZ40's and a low battery problem. This has resulted in them loosing data. How does this happen in a dual controller config and what is the solution. I seem to remember other people having this problem in the past. What was the fix. Regards, JP Lavigne

With version of 2.7 and below, any bad battery conditions while running with raid 5 sets or mirror sets will result in loss of access to those units. Hsz40 controllers will not failover units if bad battery is detected. |
