I have 2 SW800 cabs full of BA356's and HSZ40's running V2.7-2. Both of these boxes are having problems with BA35X-MG, the personnality modules (8 bit). I have 4 with both lites on the module. In the book it says fan failure, but my fans are good. I also have the extra fan kit installed. The fans are good in the BA356's also. We are running RZ29's (7200 rpm) drives. Could we just have to much heat in this box?? The BA356's are on both sides of the cabinet so it's not easy to check the fans in all of them. You have to remove the shelf. Are the lites on the BA35x-MG for fan failure and temp?? Thanks Mike

thanks to gary dean i have my answer. both lites on means the fans are running in high speed mode (heat problem in the box). one lite on is a fan failure and you would see the power status lite go out and the amber lite for that shelf on the hsz40 would lite up. you would also see this from the hsz40 cli. thanks |
