    We had an HAS40 go off line last night. LSM saved teh day, and we didnt
    loose the system, but I want to know what to dowith the hsz.

    The line that confuses me is :
    A device port's host bus watchdog timer expired.
    
    I think 'device port' refers to the 6 'back end ports', but host port
    
    refers to the port to the cpu. Which port are we talking about here?
    
    I am going to assume this was a one-time error, and put theunit back
    on-line. 

This is a backend failure.  Some device didn't respond and hung the bus.
