    	I am looking for clarification on a problem I had today. Several
    stripesets consisting of 5 rz29b-vw's on an hsz40c running v2.7z-2. It
    appears that a drive in one of the stripesets went bad, it started
    logging write error (auto reallocation failed) asc 0c and ascq 02. The
    stripeset eventually dropped out of its host based shadow set. 
    	The question, is it normal to see errors from all devices connected
    to this hsz while this is going on. All the devices were reporting asc
    D2 and ascq 03 errors. The errors said device services had to reset the
    bus to clear a device error. The port and target in the errors were
    pointing to the lun of the drive that had failed. It seems pretty cut
    and dry but I just want to make sure it is normal since the customer
    was concerned that all the devices on the controller had an excessive
    error count.

  Sometimes when a drive goes bad you will find the HSOF software has to reset
the SCSI bus.  It often does this because the broken drive does not perform
as expected and might well be hanging the bus.

  Therefore -- yes... This is not abnormal when you don't have a good citizen
on the bus
