Anyone else doing work on linking SWCC and Netview? I have been working
on integration of SWCC with Polycenter Netview -- with limited success.
The Digital UNIX steamd sends SNMP traps to the Netview system but I
do not have all the information I need to automate event actions.
I need 'specific trap number' values for the trapd.conf file on Netview
to link a SNMP trap to an event action on Netview. Where/how can I get
more information on SNMP traps? There is nothing in the documentation.
Below is a sample of the Netview trapd.log file entry generated when
steamd sends an SNMP trap.
