Hi,
The SPD for HSOF 5.0 for HSJ50 indicates that OpenVMS VAX 5.5-2 is supported and
TZ887 is listed as one of the supported device. But the System and Options
Catalog shows that TZ887 is only supported on OpenVMS 6.2 onwards.
Questions :
1. Is there a chance that TZ887 is supported on OpenVMS 6.2 via HSJ50 ?
2. If the answer for 1 is "NO", then, I understand that on TZ887's control
panel, there are buttons to select TZ85, TZ86 and TZ87. Can these buttons enable
the TZ887 loader to behave like a TZ877 so that it can be supported under
OpenVMS 5.5-2.
The reason we raise these questions is that TZ877 is EOL but a number of our
customer are still not ready to upgrade their OpenVMS 5.5-2 systems.
