I'm not sure if this is the correct conference for this topic or not.
If not, please directly me as appropriate.
I have some questions on the new Bookreader Navigation Utility for
OpenVMS.
1) What are all the mechanisms to access the CD's ?
Bookreader had the logicals DECW$BOOK and DECW$BOOKSHELF.
BNU has a resource file with a resource named
'BnuLibrary.AXPDOCMAR971:' and another named 'BnuLibrary.AXPDOCMAR972:.
Can there be 1 location that is a search path using a Logical similiar
to Bookreader ? ie. DECW$BOOK Logical.
2) Is it possible to point to a CD on another system ?
We currently have a custoemr trying to use BNU to access there CD's on
anotehr node in the network using DECnet. Under Bookreader they used
the DECW$BOOK logical and pointed it at the node and diskdrive etc...
Example: DECW$BOOK = ALFAXP::DISK$AXPDOCMAR961:[DECW$BOOK]
3) Are there any HTML files that it can invoke off the March 1997
Online Documentation CD's ? In doing so, I would expect Netscape
Navigator to be invoked with the file displayed. Everything I have
reviewed so far has used the BNU. I'm sure we're going to be asked
why it requires Netscape Navigator if everything is useing BNU.
Any information on Managing BNU via Resource files, logicals, and or
data files would be appreciated. The "User's Guide" on the CD's under
the [README] directory doesn't help to answer these and any of the
Management type questions.

HYLNDR::CDROM is a better place to ask. I'll reply to the cross-posting there.
