280.0. "DIAKNL V2.3-3 Installation problem" by JPNAES::MATSUI (Jun-ichi Matsui /CSC Japan) Wed Feb 26 1997 00:12
During DIAKNL V2.3-3 installation, it deletes DECevent's startup script
/sbin/rc3.d/S15dia.
Tehrefore after DIAKNL V2.3-3 installation, DECevent does not startup.
Please investigate installation script.
regards,
Jun

Did you run the diasetup after the installation? This routine sets up a soft
link of ln -fs /sbin/init.d/dia_s_k /sbin/rc3.d/S15dia and should resolve your
issue. This is the first report I have had of this nature. Please verify that
the diasetup was run after the installation.

| Thanks Keith,
I did not run the diasetup. After that, S15dia was linked correctly.
