257.14Seeing the same problem...CGOWGS::GIBBJohn Gibb Canadian Multi Vendor SupportTue Feb 18 1997 11:1011
    Howdy,

    We are also seeing these events on a DEC4000 running V3.2g. Is this a
    hole in the way memory errors are logged on a DEC4000 and is there a
    way to manually do a bit to text translation?.

    Any thoughts or inputs would be appreciated..

	John,

   If you will supply me with a binary error log file I will see what I can do
to get it decoded. There is a problem with the way memeory errors are logged in
various versions of DigitalUnix.

   We have seen cases were correctable crd's are being logged as 660 machine
checks. Which makes no sense as they are correctable and a 660 indicates hard
error.

Hi Keith,

I copied the binary.errorlog file to the default decnet directory on
cgou23"":: (57.25).

Can you let me know if you can get at this file...

Thanks for your time and effort..
