| The february update is now available. It provides even more support for the
4100/4000 and adds support for the 1000A (with the proper firmware and OS)

| The KNL update kit V2.3-3 is now released. This update adds support
for the 8400 4 gigabyte memory support. There is also the beginnings
of support for PCI devices on the 8400.
The kit is available internally from http://pinkft.cxo.dec.com/decevent
I will make the kit available on the external page tomorrow.
However, the first several hundred systems that are shipped will come
with a CD that contains DECevent for UNIX and OpenVMS along with the
firmware upgrade and the OpenVMS patches that are required.
V2.3-3 contains all the changes that were in V2.3-1 and V2.3-2 also.
This will work for customers who don't have the 4 gig memory. However,
if they have the 4 gig memory but not the VMS patches they will get an
error message. Keith will be getting the information on what the error
message is going to be. liesl
