The T4.0 EFT kit was based on V4.0 of DIGITAL UNIX.

The SSB version of MLS+ (which I think will be called DIGITAL MLS+
V4.0A), is based on DIGITAL UNIX V4.0A.

Will MLS+ V4.0 support loadable drivers similar to Digital UNIX?

Here's my take :

MLS+ V4.0A will support the "Loadable Drivers Framework"
from Digital UNIX V4.0A.

However, there are a few caveats regarding whatever drivers
one tries to load using this feature :

	- There is no guarantee that a driver built against
Digital UNIX V4.0A will run on MLS+ V4.0A.
This is due to differences in kernel data structures
	  between Digital UNIX V4.0A and MLS+ V4.0A.
If the driver is built specifically against MLS+
V4.0A, there should be no problem in this regard.

	- There is nothing to protect from a loaded driver
	  introducing security policy violations.
The user is responsible for insuring that the driver
being loaded does not compromise security.
