    In previous notes, relaxation has been mentioned.  A good test for this 
    is to see if you can play for 30 minutes without fatigue.
    
    It is incredible what you can play when the fingers are relaxed -
    technique becomes effortless, for wind players a relaxed mouth (lips
    and tongue) allow you to articulate with great ease.  Think of opening
    the wind pipe and inhaling from the diaphram to get maximum breath support.
    
    After 28 years of playing the clarinet, I keep learning new things...
