    An update on this note.
    
    I just bought K279-K283 played by Maria Joao Pires. Very impressive.
    Somebody asked in another note about her playing of Chopin. If it's
    half as good as this you can't go wrong.
    
    I must be in the wrong country though. I had to pay $24 for a DG issue.
    In the US it sems to be less than half that on Denon.
    
    Her playing of the slow movement from K280 is especially good. Like
    Glenn Gould without the singing :-)
