    I am curious if anyone has come across any biographies of Major
    General John Buford, US Volunteers who commanded the 1st Division
    of the Cavalry Corp. of the Army of the Potomac.  I heard recently
    that there might be a book out already or soon written by
    Arnold Blumberg.
    
    Any information shared would be greatly appreciated.

    I seem to remember seeing something about Buford in scanning one of the
    many book lists I get in the mail.
    
    Have you tried going to your local bookstore and looking in "Books in
    Print"?  The "subject" sort would reveal any existing biography.

    I just called Walden Books and asked them to check their Books in Print
    and they were unable to locate anything.  So either they don't have a
    current copy or Mr. Blumberg hasn't had anything published yet.
