    Does OPS require Memory Channel API library (libimc.a) to be
    initialized?
    
    I am preparing a system for OPS install but have no OPS doco.

    Nope the Oracle kernel is linked to libdlm.a. Actually the Oracle
    installation script looks for this library to decide if you can install
    the Oracle Parallel Server option.
