2008.0. "Support for Raid Arrey 310 ?" by NQOS01::viper.lex.dec.com::coxt () Fri Apr 18 1997 14:35

Is the Raid Array 310 supported under ASE?

If not, does that mean the Raid Array 410 is the
entry level raid 5 solution?

2008.2Supported on ASE 1.4A !!GOYA::GALANThu Apr 24 1997 04:1127
    I was looking this for a while, and finally this is here.

    This comes from the Release Notes:

      Product Version: TruCluster Production Server Software Version 1.4A,
                    TruCluster Available Server Version 1.4A, and
                    TruCluster MEMORY CHANNEL Software Version 1.4A

    1.1.4    Supported RAID Controllers

    Table 1-4 lists the RAID controllers supported by TruCluster Production
    Server Software Version 1.4A (PS) and TruCluster Available Server Software
    Version 1.4A (AS). It indicates which Hierarchical Storage Operating
    Firmware (HSOF) revisions are required for each RAID controller.

             Table 1-4: Supported RAID Controllers
      RAID Controller HSOF Revision PS AS

Just a nit:

             Table 1-4: Supported RAID Controllers
> RAID Controller HSOF Revision PS AS
>     HSZ10-Ax              V2.0                    No      Yes

This part is incorrect. The HSZ10 does NOT use HSOF at all! The
firmware used in the HSZ10 is private and exclusive to the HSZ10,
and has nothing to do with the HSOF firmware.

The last HSZ10 firmware was rev "0306".
