Do the restrictions for the MC adapters on the 4100 still apply (bus 0, slots 2 & 3)? The reason I'm asking is that I've worked with 2 different customers in the last few weeks who have FIS TCR systems on 4100's, and the MC was not in those slots when they received. Thanx. Actually, this wasn't a hardware issue, it was a software one. The restriction was true for v3.2x systems but is fixed for v4.x systems. Do a search on 4100 in this conference and you will find more info. Keep in mind hardware slot restrictions are in place for all machines with PCI bridges (board must be on the primary PCI segment, not the secondary) Dave [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] |
