Just a heads-up for anyone using ase v1.4. If you create, then delete an nfs service, ase deletes the associated exports.ase.service_name file, but it fails to delete the '.INCLUDE exports.ase.service_name' entry in the exports.ase file. If you try to reboot the system that has this problem and nfs tries to access the file, you might get the following message: Mar 20 15:42:05 frick mountd[663]: fopen failure /etc/exports.ase.nfssvc: No such file or directory where nfssvc is the name of the service that was deleted. The error isn't fatal, but might cause your customer some panic. The only fix I can find is to manually delete the .INCLUDE line in the exports.ase file when you delete an nfs service. I have QAR'd this and HOPEFULLY a fix is on the way. Hope this helps anyone else that might see this problem. John McDonald Atlanta CSC [email protected] [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]
