Hi, I would like to modify /etc/exports.ase to allow another system (hx9) to mount the NFS service as root. I've modified the file to :- /sapmnt/PRD -root=hx12:hx13:hx14:hx9 -access=hx12:hx13:hx14:hx9 The hosts files contains neccessary hosts & IP address but I'm getting the message 'can't access /sapmnt/PRD access denied'. Does the NFS service needs restarting ? This is a production system and I am unable to restart the services.

Hi, You MUST use asemgr to modify a NFS service export file. Aand, by the way, the file you modify is not the good one. The correct one is /etc/exports.ase.nfs_service_name Manu. |
