1893.0. "Strange direct routes entries" by VNASWS::FLOR (Alex Flor (754-1361)) Mon Feb 24 1997 04:57
Hi,
I have the same question, already asked (but not answered) in note 1368.
A customer has the following configuration:
143.50.15
...-----+---------------------------------+------...
| |
| tu0: 143.50.15.12 | tu0: 143.50.15.13
soft02 soft03
| tu1: 192.0.02 | tu1: 192.0.0.3
| |
||-----+---------------------------------+------||
192.0.0
143.50.15 is the backup network
192.0.0 is the primary network
'netstat -r ' on soft02:
143.50.15 143.50.15.13
192.0.0 192.0.0.3
'netstat -r' on soft03:
143.50.15 143.50.15.12
192.0.0 192.0.0.2
These routes were added by DECsafe and don't show up in /etc/routes.
Why have both the cluster members the other member as gateway
to the local networks???
