We have cluster moving to MC cluster. The really don't need MC.
The plan to use the machine for:
NFS server --- No problem
Mail server --???
DNS + NIS --- I suggest making one node master and one backup
QUESTIONS:
1. Any problems with clients running automount?
2. Can sendmail be set up to failover?
3. Can printers be set-up to failover?
4. can LAT devices failover?

QUESTIONS:
1. Any problems with clients running automount?
Clients can run automuont.
2. Can sendmail be set up to failover?
Yes.
3. Can printers be set-up to failover?
I am not aware of local printers being able to be failed over.
You might be able to failover network printers, however, I
have not tried. Anyone out there tried this and failed/
succeeded?
4. can LAT devices failover?
Not sure, again, anyone tried this one?

Hi,
I wrote in year 1994 a note explaining how to failover printer queue,
but I dont remember the note number. try a dir /title=printer or
/title=queue.
Regards, Manu.
