Hi all, to begin with, i don't known nothing about SNAPRE or even SNA, that's why i hope someone can give a hand on this. A costumer called with the following problem: he has a vax machine that has x25 and a printer queue configured. This machine receives messages from another one through x25 and sends the message directly to the vms queue with the help of a process that the costumer thinks it is SNAPRE. This is working fine, but now the costumer would like to keep these messages in a file in a way that could allow him to work with the information later on, and at the same time to print the message as it is doing now. Is this possible? How? I would appreciate if someone could contact me or at least reply to this note, Thanks, NelsonR. DTN 799-8121 MAIL: [email protected]

What makes you think SNAPRE is involved? Is an IBM mainframe involved with this? If yes, could you please provide the exact network diagram illustrating the connectivity & where your customer thinks SNAPRE is running? >This is working fine, but now the costumer would like to keep these messages in >a file in a way that could allow him to work with the information later on, and >at the same time to print the message as it is doing now. > >Is this possible?
