    Is the logical SNA$DEF_GATEWAY still supported for DSPI 1.5?
    Or is there any other logical available to supply a Gateway node
    specification?

    Unfortunately that logical name (and several others) disappeared
    with DSPI V1.5 and also with all the other VMS access routines released
    at that time. There is no equivalent logical name now.
    
    I've logged this issue in our internal notesfile bug #253 for possible
    addressing in a future release. But if it is absolutely critical to
    your customer then you need to open a support call and get an IPMT
    logged. without that I doubt whether this will ever be addressed given
    its current perceived importance (or rather lack of importance).
