7056.0. "LU6.2 BUGCHK" by KETJE::GORREMANS (Dominique Gorremans, Brussels) Thu Apr 03 1997 08:44

    Hello,

    I seem to have a problem in an APPC/LU6.2 program that I do not know
    exactly how to handle. I think it is a problem in the software.

    It happens a few times a day, so not for every call, but that makes it
    rather diffcult to find out what is happening.

    This is what I find in a log file:

    X25READ - X25 REPLY TEST CONNECTION SENT
    %SNALU62-F-BUGCHK, internal error detected in CONFIRM at PC 00274594
    -SNALU62-F-SSFAIL, call to system service '$DCLAST' failed
    %NONAME-F-NOMSG, Message number 0009804C
     Image Name Module Name Routine Name Line Number rel PC abs PC
     SNALU62SH    CONFIRM         CONFIRM                 266 00000394   00274594
     SNALU62SH    DISPATCH        DISPATCH2               786 00000BF0   00289600

    This is on OpenVMS AXP V6.2-1H3.
    The version of APPC/LU6.2 is V2.2 ECO-20
    The gateway is an Interlink.

    Can anybody tell me how to handle this?

    Thank you

    Dominique

    Just a guess...

    call to system service '$DCLAST' failed

    condition values returned...

    ss$_normal
    ss$_exquota
    ss$_insfmem

    I'd go for exceeded quota. Process ASTLM. See what increasing that
    does.

7056.2Trying this, thanksBRSADV::GORREMANSDominique Gorremans, BrusselsFri Apr 04 1997 02:444
    Thanks for the input. I changed the process quota and I will be
    monitoring this today.

    Yes,

    The process is behaving as expected now.

    Thanks,
