7049.0. "dependent LUs => "NOT IN SESSION"" by ZPOVC::SINSPS () Thu Mar 20 1997 23:18
Hi,
I'm a novice lu62 but has trying to configure lu62 on a DUNIX machine
with SNA PEER gateway.
The gateway has been PU connected-active. I started the stst script
invoked cm, lu62mgr and snagwy successfully. In fact, I've got all the
dependent LUs "IN USE" but "NOT IN SESSION".
Is this normal ? When I ran the customer's TP program, the logged file
indicated abend code 7000 and the rc1 & rc2 codes are both 0.
Is the customer's TP program suppose to make the LUs "IN SESSION" ?
Could the problem lies in the partner program at the IBM's CICS side ?
How to check the status of their partner program at the IBM side ?
Based on the status described, is my setup ok so far ? SNA PEER is 1.3
and LU62 is 1.0
Thanks,
- LEH

| Hello,
You may use your lu6.2 log and your lu6.2 program trace to
determine what is happening to your program. You may also
run a ctf trace on the gateway to see what data has gone over.
