Hello, Would there be someone willing to comment on the following planned configuration DTF MVS 3.1 DTF VMS 3.2 OS/390 1.2.0 ACF/VTAM 4.3.0 DFSMS 1.3.0 RACF 2.2.0 CICS 4.1.0 IMS 5.1.0 DB2 4.1.0 I think the above should work ? but they are also planning to use ESCON architecture ? and System/390 Parallel feature ? and these I am not sure of, or whether they are relevant. hi, we have customers running on OS/390 today. however, OS/390 is not yet in-house and i do not know what the installation plans are. we will support OS/390 customers as best we can. we work fine with versions of ACF/VTAM and DTFSMS posted and have no dependencies on CICS/IMS/DB2. customer has source code for security exits and they probably need to be reassembled for RACF 2.2. you should post what gateway(s) customer has installed so someone (uh not me) can give you the nod on that. lew | |||||
