| Elsa,
I think you have gotten no response because folks
don't know exactly what your looking for.
It sounds like you wish to have SNA Peer Server over X.25.
That can be done with X.25 Access software and a sync card on
the Alpha running Peer Server or in combination with an X.25
Gateway.
It puzzles me to see you show Cisco routers connected into
the X.25 cloud. What are they doing? Tunneling? Routing?
Bridging? X.25 PAD? somethng else?

7032.4 | tunneling of sna to llc2 | IB001::ELSA | | Mon Mar 10 1997 03:42 | 19 |

Hi,
Bill,
Someone has selled this configuration , I have to mount this,
I try to obtain on this moment the configuration of the ciscos
in order to clarify my idea of the configuration and see that
it's possible or not.
The customer said to me that the ciscos make tunneling of sna to
LLC2 (DLSW). If it's the context and the MVS make the X.25 call
and the peer receive the llc2 connection , it is feasible.
Thanks for your feedback,
I try to obtain the exact configuration on the ciscos.

| If the Peer Server works strictly SNA over LLC2 (ethernet)
and it doesn't have to worry about the X.25, Ciscos, etc.,
you're all set. In that case the Cisco's would act as bridges.
The MVS side would be LLC2 over ethernet as well.
If, as you say, the Cisco's do DLSW, you definitely need
to get an exact picture of the capabilities of that setup.
It's got to be totally transparent to the Peer Server.

We have got, finally, the cisco's router configuration. We'll try
to get working this configuration the next week at customer site.
Any comments are welcome.
