Hello,
If you don't need power, speed, and performance, or you don't
have the ability to install software on the mainframe, you can use
IND$FILE, or RJE to get your file transfer done.

i am propelled to add "reliability and features" to -1. i do not think solutions in -1 provide automated checkpoint/restart nor do they support VSAM access. MDU on the m/f and DTFDU on Digital UNIX supports BOTH features (and a HOST of others). lew | |||||
