	VAX 2780/3780 V1.8 still cannot be installed in OpenVMS/VAX V6.2:

VAX 2780/3780 Protocol Emulator software found on Mar-1996 VAX Cond. CD-ROM.
is same as Dec-1996:

But I found there is another SPD found on WEB which quoted V1.8 is supported
under VMS V6.2:

There are discrepency between the OpenVMS/VAX version supported by VAX 2780/3780
Protocol Emulator described in SPD from different location:

1. From http://webir.das.dec.co....cts/SP2507/SP2507SC.TXT; quoted that
   OpenVMS Operating system from V5.5 to V6.2 is supported by V1.8

2. From SPD bundled in DEC 96 software CD-ROM; only OpenVMS Operating system
   from V5.5 to V6.1 is supported by V1.8

    2780/3780 may be updated to V1.9 for V6.2 installations.
    Product Management is in process of rethinking the previous
    idea around an ECO to do it. Reason being... the kit needs to
    drop support for unsupported drivers from retired WAN kits.
    
    So, it would imply that the drivers from DECnet/OSI would be the
    only drivers supported with Bisync.
    
    I'm not sure the plans are finalized.
