I have one Windows 95 machine where the Naming Service automatically starts up in response to a client call to CosNaming_NamingContext_resolve, and another Windows 95 machine where the Naming Service does not automatically start up. How is this behavior controlled? Thanks. Ken....

A recent issue was discovered where the ObjectBroker Bin directory needs to be in the PATH for the nameserver to autostart properly. You can add ObjectBroker to the PATH by executing OBBVAR32.BAT from AUTOEXEC.BAT. I believe the installation manual and/or the release notes talk about what to do and give an example... Craig |
