| Hi,
are there any changes in status regarding dynamic port allocation? We
have a customer who is about to start using firewall. The suggestions
in Objectbroker conference (note 1355.2) seem to require quite a bit of
work... Is there any recommended secure way of passing the port number
info from the ObjectBroker server to firewall?

2380.7 | Nope | REQUE::whocrz.zko.dec.com::Gumbel | Dick Gumbel | Wed May 21 1997 09:17 | 9 |
| Dynamic port allocation is being considered for a future release
of ObjectBroker. That will not be available for some time, so
your customer needs to utilize one of the scenarios in the
original note (1355.2) for firewall support.
