Troubble with
obb 2.7-11 cld on Windows NT Server 4.0 (new Service PAck 2 applied)
start the OBB administrator GUI then > View > Advertisement Registry
I have the following advertised
Implementation
CheckAcctImpl
Objects
BankAcct
CheckAcct
When I select CheckAcct <REMOVE> activates
When I cklick <REMOVE> a warning comes up that this cant be undown
When I cklick <OK>
the CheckAcct Object is removed and
the Advertisement Registry Window closes (crashes);
This is Bug No. 1
After that I cannot launch the Advertisment Registry Window any
more.
I do an Exit and restart of the Tool.
No I can launch the Advertisment Registry Window
It shows that CheckAcct Object was perfectly removed
Then same happens with the BankAcct Object
Then No Objects are left but one Implementation which I like to clean
up as well.
But unfortunately the <REMOVE> Button does not activate for
Implementation Advertisments. The Implementation is registered for the
local node entered as PILA10
This is Bug 2

The question to bug no 2 in .0 is
Why can I not unregister implementations from the Advertisment Menu if
Implementations and Objects are shown in that and have to go to the
Implemtation Registry Menu and do it from there.
Why can not a message occure telling the user when he intends to select
and then <REMOVE> an implementation that this has to be done using the
Implementation Registry Menu
Even not very logical as we DO talk about Implemntation and
Advertisment Registry Partitions.
Why shall I use the Implementation Registry Menu to do something which
after all has then an effect on the advertisment partition in the
advertisment registry menu show by the advertisment registry menu.
Just not logical.
For new users not very handy even Experts struggle sometimes.
Sepp, - make it a suggestion or leave it as is ... :-(
