654.0. "Autograph Price Guide?" by LACV01::BAUMEISTER () Mon Aug 29 1994 15:24

Can anyone tell me if there is a price guide for Baseball Autographs?

I'm interested in Cal Ripken Jr and Mickey Mantle prices.

    Thanks Wayne.

Where can I get a copy of the TUFF STUFF magazine? A baseball store
    perhaps?

I have a Cal Ripken Jr. Autographed baseball, an autographed plaque
from the All Star game at Camden Yards last year and an autographed
plaque for his 2000th hit this year.

Someone is selling a Mickey Mantel ball and picture all framed in a
very large shadow box type arrangement. Just curious as to the price
    of his autograph.

    Txs again.

You can usually find Tuff Stuff in most card stores and sometimes in
book stores such as Walden's etc. Sports Collector's Digest also puts
out a book on autographs. You might find something like this in the
    Hobby sections of bookstores.

While Tuff Stuff may list a price for autograph ball, it may be a
little bit harder to find a price on specialty items such as plaques,
tickets etc. I would think these would be priced somewhat higher de-
pending on the item and it's occasion, such as the 2000th hit.
