In mid-August Fleer will be releasing yet another new baseball set
called Extra Bases. This set will be in the same format as their
NBA Jam Session, NHL Power Play and NFL Gameday sets. Fronts will
be full bleed photos. 395 player cards plus 5 checklist cards.
There will also be 80 (count 'em 80) insert cards making up four
different insert sets: Second Year Stars (20 cards), Rookie Stand-
outs (20 cards), Major League Hopefuls (10) and Game Breakers (30).
Cards will come 12 to a pack with one being an insert card. There
will also be a mail in offer for 10 cards featuring 20 of the top
pitchers.

I picked up a box of these at BG for 40$. Very nice. The Game
Breakers insert set is really nicely done. Too bad these guys are
on strike. Anyway, photos are pretty sharp, new uniforms and most
of the recent trades are in here. 5 sticks out of 5 on the Gum-o-meter !
