    	As the usual story goes ...
    
    		I was cleaning out my closet and came across a
    		baseball, autographed by the Red Sox.
    
    	A couple of ?'s
    
    		1.  Where might I go to determine its value,
    		    assuming it has one.  I live in Northboro, MA.
    
    		2.  Anybody care to make a stab at which year
    		    the ball is from?  All I remember is that
    		    it is in the early- to mid- 60's.  My guess
    		    is '62-'64.
    
    		    Some of the names on the ball are:
    
    			Ted Williams, Frank Malzone, Leo Kiely,
    			Jackie Jensen, Rudy York, Bill Jurges,
    			Don Buddin, Earl Wilson.
    
    			I can't make out the last names of the following:
    
    			Gary G., Jerry C., Jim B. or R., Mike F.
    
    			There are other names also, which I can't
    			readily make out.

    
    My guess is 1960, since that was the last year Williams was an active
    player, although it may be possible that he could have signed it later,
    say, in spring training. I don't have an Encyclopedia with me at the
    moment, so it's difficult for me to research it any further at present.
    
    The names you can't read clearly could be...
    
    	Jerry C.....Jerry Casale
    
    	Gary G......Gary Geiger
    
    	Mike F......Mike Fornieles
    
    	don't know the other...

    Could the Jim B./R. be a Jim P. for Piersall perhaps?
