Definitely agree with you John, I bought box awhile back for ~$14
when they first came out and let "my 3 sons" all open them. Well
they really enjoyed it as we got 6 insert nickname cards and each
of them hit 2 a piece. Just bought another box at BJs for $12.50
and the kids ripped thru that one, finding 5 more nickname inserts
(including Nolan "Express" Ryan which made Dad happy too!, gimme
that insert kid...)
We haven't sorted the 2nd box yet, but did notice on the first one
that the collation was pretty lousy (trade time). I give Leaf real
credit for making a nice low end product and even spicing it up with
some nice inserts, kids can relate to nicknames and they are good
looking cards.

| I went to a card store today and asked if they had any Triple Play
singles. The guy told me they had some, but they can't put them out
yet because they're not in any price guides. These guys can't think
for themselves.

That's sad, very sad. Someone refusing to do business because they
don't have a price guide. There's something very strange and unique to
these card businesses in that for many (okay, not all, but an alarmingly
high percentage in my experience) of them customer satisfaction is
of the absolute lowest priority. I don't know how many times I've gone
into a place and had the proprietor tell me that he has no idea if
he'll get a particular card, no idea what he'll charge if and when he
does (he'll have to look it up at that time), and is even unsure if
he'll be open next weekend because he might be at a card show. There's
apparently no thought whatsoever given to establishing a clientele...

| I know what you mean. Triple Play which is probably the lowest priced
product and they couldn't make a decision. I'll stick to my usual
dealer (Hall of Fame) from now on and look for singles he doesn't have
at shows.
