    I picked up a couple boxes of 1993 OPC baseball.  Not "Premiere",
    but the regular issue.  Unlike other years,  the design for these
    cards is completely different than the Topps issue. Glossy finish
    on the cards and a fairly nice design which is why I bought it.
    
    The packs contain only 8 cards and also one insert card featuring
    the World Champion Toronto Blue Jays. There's  an  18 card insert
    set of the team itself and a four card insert set of World Series
    Heroes featuring Dave Winfield,  Jimmy Key, Pat Borders and some-
    one else whose name eludes me at this time.  Out of one box I got
    one whole team set and two of the World Series Heroes sets.
    
    While I didn't sort the cards yet and I didn't see any checklists,
    I believe the set is around 400 cards.  Card backs are in English
    and French (I'm glad I took four years of in high school ;-) Lots
    of Expos and Blue Jays as expected.
    
    The boxes are  fairly  inexpensive  also, but they should be with
    only 9 cards per pack. I think I'll have  to  pick up another box
    to finish a set though.
    
    Overall three sticks out  of  five  on  the Gum-o-meter. I really
    liked the design,  but they've  could've  put more cards per pack,
    not to mention including checklists (although they may have some).
