| Miguel, Rotman's has them listed at 32.99$ in the latest SCD. Of course
there'll be tax also.

| Saw these this weekend at a small show. Dealer wanted 136$ a box. It
must have a Shaq card in it or something. I passed, but picked up the
Fleer Ultra Baseball set they had for 15$.

| What's the point of these? Will they be on the back of th TSC cards
next year?
They had them for $2/pack in Albany. I still passed.

| You're probably right Walt since the box said "The Rookies". There
was a #1 Draft Pick set so Shaq is probably in it.

| I went to a small show in Fitchburg tonight. I picked up a set of
these, an extra set of the #1 Draft Picks subset and an extra set
of checklists for 22$. I thought the draft picks were an insert
set at first, but they're part of the regular set (#'s 1-11). I
liked the 1981-1984 cards. The 1987's weren't done too well. The
#1 Draft Picks were a nice subset though. Worth picking up at the
right price.

| I bought a box this past weekend for $29. Got one complete set, 13 cards
short of a second set. Also got two master photo redemption cards (one was
packed on top of the packs inside the box, the other was in a pack). Can
redeem each card for 3 master photo cards of the draft pick subset. There
are 4 of the master photo redemption cards (I got Coleman and Daugherty). The
master photo set includes all 11 #1 draft pick cards plus a montage card of
all 11.
I like this set for several reasons:
1. Has the college stats on the back (only negative on that is
that they don't include assists)
2. Has the first year pro stats as well
3. While some of the designs are lousy, others look great
4. The draft pick cards (#1-11) show all the first round picks
for each year on the back. Interesting to see just how
many of the selected players are still around.
This is the only basketball product I've bought this year, and I'm happy with
it.
