| The latest issue of Tuff Stuff (March 1993 - Ali cover) had an article on
Customer Service for some of the companies. While I won't enter everything,
here's some information on phone numbers and addresses on where to call,
send cards etc. The article basically dealt with calling up the various
customer service depts., sending in cards, how long it took to get the
cards back etc.

I sent a damaged hologram to Skybox. About a month later I
received a new holo and a letter saying they are more than happy
to replace damaged cards one for one.

I have been sending imperfect/damaged Marvel Holograms to
(Impel) Skybox for some time now, and they have always
sent me a replacement without any trouble at all, as long
as their supply lasts. I always send the Hologram via
registered mail just to have proof of what I sent.

I have sent cards back to these people and never got any flack from any
of them, they like hearing from the consumer (serious collectors). Most
of them will replace card for card, they also have a limit of 15 to
25 when you request card for card. When I go out and spend over a $1.00
for a pack they better be in great condition or they go back.
this is a list of companys, and how long it takes to get your cards ....
Classic about 2 weeks
(Hoops) Sky Box Int'l. 2 weeks
O P Chee 2 weeks
Stadium (Topps) 2 weeks
Fleer 4 to 6 weeks
Upperdeck 6 to 8 weeks
Leaf (Donruss) 4 to 6 weeks
Score (Pinnacle) 4 to 6 weeks
Impel 4 to 6 weeks
Don't throw those cards away, there all replaceable, and oh I forgot
to tell you that what ever it cost you in U.S.Mail,they will give that
it back to you in cards.

531.6 | Good response time from Fleer | FUTURE::JST_ONGE | John St.Onge USDSL DTN 275-2715 | Sun Jul 18 1993 11:12 | 8 |
| I recently opened a 1992 Fleer Update set which includes a special
four card Headliners Insert Set (Griffey Jr., Yount, Reardon and
Fielder). Anyway, the set had two Fielder cards and two Reardon
cards. Around June 25th I set the two extra cards from the set and
told Fleer what happened. Friday I received a letter from Fleer
and the Griffey and Yount cards. Pretty good response time.
