| Good! I hope the dealer wins. These ballplayers definitely have a
ego problem, and think they can jerk people around anytime they want.
Phil is on a definite tail-spin heading straight to earth, since his
rookie year up to the bigs. I'm surprised he is being protected by the
Red Sox in the expansion draft.

Did I get that right, after years of harrassment someone actually
wrote "I hope the dealer wins"? It seems I'm having a positive
effect.
Too bad all of the old noters can't see this. Hope most of you
get to read this before John, or the ghost of Roy ant their
back up group "The Turnips" start to delete it.
Maybe I am a Mantle fan.

| The dealer is John Santelli of 10th inning in Warwick, R.I. He's the
guy who also ran the recent 2 day show in Boxboro. I talked to him at
the show because I couldn't go Sunday (Pats-SF game) and he sent me an
Aaron ball UPS because Hank was there Sun. and I'd miss him.

| Maybe he,(Plantier) like all the other JERKS only go to the shows when
the funds are low,he's a real stiff for doing that to the people that
pay his salary,I'm so sick of all these premadonnas that are on ego
trips,I hope this guy John Santelli (nice Italian boy) wins his case.
Mike stop picking on the Saint.

503.5 | He should be sued if he broke a contract | FUTURE::JST_ONGE | John St.Onge USDSL DTN 275-2715 | Tue Nov 17 1992 12:50 | 8 |
| The facts aren't in yet ;-)
If Plantier had a contract to show up, then the dealer has all the
right in the world to sue him. Unfortunately when a dealer tells
us that stuff we're buying is rare, scarce etc. - well you know
what I mean ...

| All the card dealers and investors around here are trying to unload
those stacks of Phil Plantier rookie cards now. I love it !

Yes! I wonder just how low you could get all the Plantier Rookie
Sensations (blue ones) you wanted now. 3 for $10?

503.9 | Good Luck Phil. | POWDML::GASPARONI | | Wed Dec 16 1992 12:25 | 9 |
| I saw one guy, 10 for 10c at one show. The guy said there worthless
right now. Said he could put a sign up "FREE" and people would just
walk right by them. No interest. Bet if he has a great year in SD,
his card out there will be worth a good price. I really feel that the
Lou Man put too much pressure on Phil to hit the long ball, instead of
just swinging the bat for contact. SD is a much more relaxing
atmosphere, and I think he will come around, like Sheffield did this
year. He has alot to learn about the field though, and there is no
DH in the Senior League.

not a superstar.
