447.0. "TSR (Dungeons & Dragons) cards" by A1VAX::BARTH (Shun the frumious Bandersnatch) Thu Jun 04 1992 17:52

1992 TSR (Dungeons & Dragons) cards are available now.

These are pretty good cards. I've never seen a centering or border
problem. Some of the artwork is magnificent, and many of the cards
describe things that are useful in a fantasy role playing campaign.

These cards are primarily of interest to role playing fans, I'd think,
although it seems like they may have value as collectibles over the
long haul. Don't expect to get a complete set out of one box - there
are some rare cards which seem to appear about 1-per-two-packs, and
at 36 packs/box, it's going to take a couple of boxes, at least, to
get a full set.

The 1992's have a boo-boo, too - cards 118-120 don't have
card numbers on them. Apparently the whole run was printed that way,
so the error doesn't have any particular collector value.

I've got lots of dups and am interested in trading for the
ones I am missing.

I also have a good set of 1991 TSR cards if you need some to complete
your set. I have a lot of Series II 1991 cards and can get my hands on
most any 1991 Series I as well.

Thanks,

K.
