436.0. "HALL OF FAME TIX NEEDED" by SALEM::MOORE () Thu May 14 1992 14:05

I am in a desperate state and need some help. I tried yesterday to
get tickets to the Hall of Fame baseball game in Cooperstown, NY
August 3. By the time I got to the ticket agency, they were
sold out. My kids were crushed!!

If anyone has or knows of anyone who has tickets to this game and
is willing to give them up (for cost or a % above) please contact
me. I will be going anyway for the induction August 2 and hope
that I can get tickets there, probably from scalpers.

Please send me mail on SALEM::MOORE, DTN 285-3490 (603) 894-3490,
or feel free to call me at home (603)881-5299.

Thanks and I hope to hear from someone!!

Which teams are playing in the game?
Call their ticket offices and see if you can use plastic to get some
tickets. Some are always given to the major leage franchises that play
    in the game.

    Or try Larry Friscth (sp)
    Good Luck

Speaking of the Hall of Fame, here is a cartoon I saw in the
paper yesterday, it shows Frank & Ernest talking, and Ernest
    	says...

"Let's see... Barry Bonds, $43 million. Cecil Fielder, $36 million.
Ryne Sandberg, $7.1 million... That's why it's called...

    		"The HAUL of Fame".
