I received a letter from the company that I ordered my DC cards from. In it
they said Impel pushed back the ship date to March 31st. If that's true, my
cards should reach my home around the first week of April, but if these folks
at American Liquidations are receiving boxes/cases of DC cards and are able to
build complete sets of holos, what the real story? I heard that a box of DC
cards would yield approximately 3-4 holos. Now if that's also true, then A.L.
is receiving quite a large amount of boxes/cases. Who are they shipping the
cards to? Who can we contact?
BTW, I ordered my set from A.L. yesterday. Can't wait to get them 8->

When I first heard about American Liquidations selling all
those Holograms for such a low price, I was wondering if
the Holos were defective or second class, or something like
that, but I took a chance anyway. Last week I ordered a
few Holos, including Star Trek, Disney, T2, Mutant Ninja
Turtles, and Arena. Yesterday they arrived via UPS, and
after inspecting them, I couldn't find anything wrong with
them, they were all in Mint condition, and it took 1 week
from the time I ordered them.
I just wanted to mention this, because I know that many of
you probably had the same apprehension about this company,
which is only natural when you don't know the company's
reputation. I have already ordered my set of DC comics
Holograms which should arrive next week.
We need more companies like that in order to blow away all
of those dealers that charge lots of $$$ for those "rare"
Holos at the card shows.
One last note about the T2 Holo, a friend told me that the
original plan was for the Holos to be inserted randomly
inside the T2 trading cards packs, but someone on the inside
managed to scoop them all up and held them back, and that's
why the general public never found any inside the packs.
Sounds a little fishy to me...
